Once again there were many events and high activity relating to the annual Fairtrade Fortnight around the end of February and into March throughout the country. In addition to the film evening held at Halton Mill local examples included a talk explaining the Fairtrade Mark and also primary school pupils being invited to their local Co-op store to learn about Fairtrade. The children had fun with a game that involved searching the shelves for Fairtrade certified products and enjoyed cake made using Fairtrade ingredients.
